We’re Philo and Cookie. We typically ride around 50,000 motorcycle miles a year, and we’re building our life around the road.
2-Up Coast to Coast follows our long-distance travels, our 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide, the places we discover, the people we meet, the gear we use, and everything that happens between one fuel stop and the next.
Our StoryThis isn’t a motorcycle that comes out for an occasional sunny weekend. We put miles on it.

Motorcycle gear can look great sitting in a garage. We want to know how it performs after thousands of real-world miles through rain, heat, cold, interstates, mountain roads, long days, repeated packing and actual travel.

2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide
Our Road Glide is transportation, luggage carrier, long-distance platform and rolling test bed. We typically buy a new motorcycle about every two years, and this 2026 Harley-Davidson Road Glide joined us in July 2026. We’re documenting what ownership looks like when the odometer climbs quickly.
Current recorded milestone: 11,000-mile service completed, with rear tire replacement.
